Northwestern Oklahoma State University

Ken Irving enters his first season as an assistant linebackers coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, bringing with him valuable playing experience and a strong football background.

Before joining the coaching staff, Irving played for the Rangers during the 2024 season, where he made an immediate impact in the defensive backfield. Prior to his time at Northwestern, he was a standout at Pearl River Community College, where he recorded 3 interceptions and over 40 tackles, showcasing his play making ability and toughness on the field.

His playing career has equipped him with the knowledge and perspective to help guide and mentor the Ranger linebackers as they develop in one of the toughest conferences in Division II football.

Now beginning his coaching career, Irving is excited to give back to the program he recently represented as a player. Northwestern Oklahoma State University is proud to welcome him to the staff, where he will play a key role in helping build the future of Ranger football.
