T.J. Andrade enters his sixth year on staff at Northwestern Oklahoma State and was named Assistant Head Coach in 2017.

Andrade oversees the day-to-day operations of the program and has had oversight of various aspects of the program, primarily serving as the Equipment Coordinator and Travel Coordinator for the Rangers. He has also increased the visibility of the Northwestern Oklahoma State football program as the Camp Director, establishing camps throughout the state of Oklahoma and Texas. Andrade is also tasked with assisting with all operations for Ranger Football including fundraising efforts and the academic success of the Rangers.

Before arriving at Northwestern, Andrade earned a bachelor’s degree from Emporia State in Physical and Health Education with a Coaching Minor in December of 2014. While at Emporia, he gained experience as a student assistant for five years, during which time the Hornets made consecutive postseason appearances in the 2012 Kanza Bowl and the NCAA Division II Playoffs in 2013. Andrade functioned in multiple roles during his time as a student assistant including, video operations, equipment coordination, travel planning, opponent scouting, game day operational duties and on-campus recruiting.

Andrade graduated from Rock Creek High School in 2010 and played on the offensive and defensive line for two years before suffering a career-ending injury. He is the oldest of five children and is the son of Tony and Carrie Andrade.

T.J. completed his Master's degree in Adult Education Sports Administration in December of 2018 from Northwestern Oklahoma State. He lives in Alva with his girlfriend Megan and their dog Chief.
