Trevin Chandler

In the spring of 2025, Trevin joined the Rangers staff and is entering his first season with the program.

A native of Houston, Texas, he is a graduate of Pearland High School and a former standout at Bethany College, where he was a three-time team captain. During his playing career, he earned 2021 Offensive Player of the Year, 2021 Most Valuable Player, and All-Conference honors as a wide receiver.

Following his playing career, Trevin transitioned into coaching at Bethany College. He began as the Defensive Backs Coach in 2022, where his unit improved from three interceptions to nine in his first season and ranked among the Top 20 nationally in passing defense. He also served as Special Teams Coordinator in 2022, coaching an All-Conference punter. In 2023, he returned to coaching defensive backs and returners, with his secondary recording 10 interceptions and producing another All-Conference defensive back.

In 2024, Trevin Chandler led one of the most productive secondaries in the country, finishing second nationally with 19 interceptions. His special teams unit also excelled, highlighted by the top kick returner in the conference and multiple All-Conference honorees on both defense and special teams.

In addition to his football career, Trevin served in the United States National Guard (2019–2025). He is a devoted Christian and passionate about developing young men both on and off the field. He is excited to lead the Rangers secondary to a very productive season.
