2014 (SOPHOMORE)
Saw action in one game as a reserve linebacker.
2013 (FRESHMAN)
Saw action in all 11 games as a reserve linebacker… Totaled 10 tackles (7 solo) for the year including a season-high three stops at Pittsburg State in Week Nine… Had 2.0 tackles for loss… Recovered a fumble in Week Five against Henderson State.
HIGH SCHOOL
Played a wide variety of positions for Cayuga High School in Bethel, Texas, including linebacker, fullback, tight end and tackle… A four-time first-team all-district selection… Had a strong senior season in 2012, collecting all-state honors… Was also a Wendy’s High School Heisman State Finalist and District Defensive MVP… Helped lead the Wildcats to the 2009 State Championship… His 2010 and 2012 teams reached the second round of the playoffs… Also participated in basketball, track and baseball.

Born April 19, 1995 in Palestine, Texas… Son of Sheila Simpson and Donald Holly… Has four siblings: Jessica, Kalen, Destiny and Jordan…Uncle, Lynn Williams, is a veteran Big 12 football referee... Is the first in his family to play football… Major is Pre-Vet… Hopes to own his own veterinary clinic in Texas after graduation… Is active in FCA and was a member of the President’s Leadership Class.
