Graduated in 2018 from Pearl High School in Pearl, MS… McDonald played tight end for the Pirates under Coach John Perry… He led his team to an undefeated record in 2017 and won back-to-back 6A State Championships as well as back-to-back 6A Region Championships… He was named a Super Scholar, Mississippi Scholar and two-time 6A Region Honorable Mention.
