Jordan Franz is going into his third year as an assistant for the men's basketball program, following his playing stint at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Franz has been a staple in the program and a quality assistant over the three years on the Ranger sidelines, assisting the team from 9-18 in his first season, to 12-15 in 2016-17, to the monumental season of 2017-18 where the team finished second in the Great American Conference where the Black-and-Red compiled a 22-7 record.
Franz came to Northwestern after a four-year playing career at SWOSU where he played in 89 games for the Bulldogs.
He started for SWOSU 13 times over the course of his career and did great things not only on the court, but off the court as well in his studies.
Jordan was a two-time NABC Academic All-American, one of the most prestigious groups there are.
Franz was also named to several Great American Conference All-Academic teams along the way.
He received his Bachelor's in Education from Southwestern in 2015, and graduated with honors (Sum Cum Laude).
Jordan and his wife Kylie reside here in Alva.
