Gonzalez was voted the Great American Conference-best goalkeeper this season after being selected to the conference's All-GAC First Team. She finished at the top in multiple different statistical categories for goalkeeping in the conference. Gonzalez is second in the conference in save percentage on the season with a .824 percentage. The 42 saves she made through six games is ranked third in the league. That is an average of seven saves per game which is tied for the second-most on the season. The Rangers goalkeeper started all six games for Northwestern this season posting, one shutout on the year.Â
2019 (JUNIOR)
Gonzalez completed one of the best seasons for a Northwestern goalkeeper after earning the Great American Conference Newcomer of the Year award, GAC All-Team Honorable Mention and Third Team All-Central Region. She finished the year with the second best goal against average for an NWOSU goalkeeper with 1.64. In her first season with the Rangers she finished with a save percentage of .788. The Red-and-Black goalkeeper finished the season with 104 saves which is second best in the GAC for the year, along with 10th in Northwestern history for a season. The 5.78 saves per game she averaged was the second most in the Great American Conference this season. She also received Goalkeeper of the week once this season at the end of October.
