Appeared in three races as a freshman... McDowell-Wahpekeche posted his best time at the FHSU Tiger Open after finishing with a 30:07.3

Graduated in 2019 from Little Axe High School in Norman, OK... McDowell-Wahpekeche was a member of National Honor Society, Student Council and Student Senate... He also participated in basketball and track for Little Axe HS.

Born in Norman, OK... Majoring in Mass Communication and plans to become a Sports Reporter... A member of the Kickapoo Tribe of Oklahoma... Enjoys Netflix, Xbox, fishing and watching sports... He was a member of NWOSU's President's Leadership Class (PLC).Â
