Estefania Acosta

Estefania Acosta enters her second season as an Assistant Golf Coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. A native of Ibague, Colombia, she joins the Ranger Golf coaching staff after working with the Golf Channel in 2017.

Coach Acosta began her collegiate coaching career in 2016 at West Texas College where she was an assistant coach to both the Men’s and Women’s Golf programs. 

Acosta graduated from Missouri State University in the spring of 2016, earning a Psychology degree with a double minor in Human Recourses and Business.  She spent two years playing for the Missouri State Women’s Golf Team where she had several top 20 finishes including a tie for 11th in the MVC Championship. Acosta was named to the Missouri Valley Conference Academic Honorable Mention Team in 2014.

Before attending MSU, Acosta began her collegiate playing career at Bethune-Cookman University for two years. She celebrated many successes including many top ten finishes including a 2nd place finish at the Florida A & M Invitational and a MEAC title her freshman year. In her sophomore year she led her team to the PGA National Minority Championship placing 8th individually as well as a 6th place finish in the MEAC showcase.
