Kylie Franz is heading into her fourth season as the Women's Basketball Assistant under head coach Tasha Diesselhorst.
Franz joined the Northwestern Women's Basketball coaching staff after a solid four-year playing career at Southwestern Oklahoma State.
Over her time as a Bulldog, she played in a total of 86 games, starting in 54 of those. Her 86 games played even come from missing the entire 2014-15 season due to a shoulder injury.
Franz collected 553 career points in her time there, while also pulling down 426 career rebounds, dishing out 172 assists, and thieving away 66 steals. She was very successful on both sides of the ball as she is sixth all time in blocks with 65, while getting it done on offense as well, posting 98 three pointers throughout her career, good enough for ninth in school history.
Not only did Franz excel on the court, but in the classroom as well, being named a top student in the Education program.Â
She graduated in May 2016 with her Bachelor's in Education and will be participating in the Master's program in the fall.
Franz, her daughter Emma and her husband Jordan, who assist's the men's basketball team, reside here in Alva.Â
