Biography
2014-15 (SOPHOMORE): Provided a spark off the bench for Northwestern and not particularly on the offensive side of the ball, but as a lockdown defender. She also contributed significantly on the boards where she pulled down 92 on the year for 3.5 per game. She also played in all 26 games throughout the year.
2013-14 (FRESHMAN): Played in 25 of the 26 contests in her first year at Northwestern. Hansen started in 19 games and recorded 3.2 points per game and was second on the team with 4.3 rebounds per contest. She recorded a double-double in her first ever start at Southern Arkansas netting 12 points and pulling down 13 boards. She upped her career best 12 point performance by two against Southeastern Oklahoma State in February, where she was 2-of-3 from distance and 6-for-8 from the field in her 14 point performance. Hansen was also fourth on the team with minutes played at 19.6.
HIGH SCHOOL:
Signed with Northwestern after completing a great high school career at Hinton High School, where she was a shooting guard and a forward. Made the Dover all-tournament team in 2012, the Christian Heritage all-tournament team in 2012 and the Caddo County all-tournament team in 2013. She also competed in Softball, Cross Country and Track. Hansen was the Valedictorian of her graduating class. She was coached by her dad Terry.
PERSONAL:
Born June 21, 1994 in Oklahoma City… Daughter of Terry and JaDena Hansen… Brother Shane played with the Rangers from 2003 to 2008 and ranks 14th on the all-time scoring list… Has two other siblings: Latesha (35) and Tanner (20).
