Biography
2013 (Senior): Started in 13 of the 14 games she played in during her final year in a Ranger uniform. Wabenga was brought in to be a forward, but team injuries led to her playing most of her senior season as a defender. She recorded three shots and ended up with an assist at Harding.
2012 (Junior): Started 15 of the 17 games she played in with one goal on 10 shots (four of the on goal)… Named Second Team All-Great American Conference as a defender… Also took home GAC Player of the Week honors during the final week of the regular season.
2011 (Sophomore): Recorded a stellar second season scoring three goals while handing out two assists… Eight of the 16 shots taken were on goal… Started in eight of the 18 games she participated in.
2010 (Freshman): Tied for second on the team in assists with two… Had an assist against Oklahoma Wesleyan and one versus St. Gregory’s… Got off 13 shots with 46.2% landing on goal… Started in seven games of 17 played…
High School: Was a two-time Most Valuable Player at Trinity High School in Euless, Texas, while playing forward and midfield... Also competed in basketball and track...
Personal: Majoring in biology and plans on going to grad school and travelling the world after graduation... Daughter of Andre Wabenga and Georgette Lugendo... Born December 16, 1991...
