Jay Barlett

Jay Barlett is entering his fifth year with the Northwestern Oklahoma State athletic department in 2018-19. A native of Burlington, Ontario, Canada, Barlett joined the athletic communications staff at the tail end of a five-year playing career with the Rangers baseball program. 

Barlett is a 2015 Northwestern graduate with a bachelor's degree in Health and Sports Science (Marketing), and earned his master's degree in Adult Education & Athletic Administration with honors in the fall of 2017. 

Now serving as the primary media contact for men's basketball, baseball and women's soccer, he previously worked as a graduate assistant for two years before accepting a full-time position in Marketing & Communications. Barlett is also the lead graphic designer on staff and manages all Northwestern Athletics social media accounts. He was responsible for the design and implementation of the official game program of Ranger Basketball and spearheaded the re-branding effort of Percefull Fieldhouse in 2017. 

Barlett resides in Alva with his girlfriend Olivia and their two dogs.
