Tim Lavoie

Tim Lavoie is entering his second season as the Women’s Soccer assistant for Northwestern Oklahoma State.

Lavoie spent one competition season at Northern Oklahoma College - Tonkawa in 2014, where he was the Assistant Men’s Soccer Coach while also assisting with the women's program. While with NOC Tonkawa, Tim was responsible for recruiting players into the soccer program, analyzing, strategizing and implementing tactics along with the head coach in game situations.

He also played a big part in helping NOC achieve one of its most successful seasons, finishing 17-3-1, earning them a conference and regional title.

Before becoming the assistant at NOC, he was the Assistant Men’s Coach at Independence Community College, where he recruited players for the program and did many other jobs for ICC. They reached the highest total of points during the one season he was with Independence.

Not only did he work at the college level, but also gained experience with now Northwestern Head Coach Craig Liddell, where he was the Head Boys and Girls JV coach and assistant to Liddell on both varsity squads.

Lavoie graduated with his Bachelor’s degree at Bluefield College in 2012, where he played four years and graduated with a degree in Exercise and Sport Science. He is currently working towards his Master's degree in Adult Education Management and Administration with an emphasis in Athletic Administration.
