Sonja Kriewald is entering her second year with the Northwestern Athletic Training Staff and is currently working with both the volleyball and softball programs. Sonja moved to Alva from her hometown of Kent, Washington and joined the NWOSU Athletic Training Staff in August 2018.
Sonja is a graduate of Eastern Washington University, where she received her bachelor’s degree in athletic training and minored in psychology. While at EWU, Sonja gained experience with NCAA Division 1 athletes working with the football team, women’s soccer, men’s tennis and gained experience at a local high school in Spokane, WA during her clinical rotations.
Sonja is working on her Master of Education in Adult Education Management and Administration, with an emphasis in sports administration. Sonja is the daughter of Bobbi and Bryan Kriewald and has a younger brother, Aaron.
Sonja’s fiancé, Ariel Sison, serves in the United States Air Force as a Military Working Dog Handler.
