Attended Northeastern Junior College in Sterling, CO... Burns played middle and right side for the Plainsmen and led her team to two-time Region IX Championship finishes... The Plainsmen finished 8th at Nationals in 2018 and 13th in 2019.

Graduated in 2018 from Smokey Hill High School in Aurora, CO... Burns played middle and right side for the Buffalo under Coach Carrie Glenn and Scott Nugent.

Born in Aurora, CO... Daughter of Kerrie and Phillip Burns... Plans to become a Pediatric Nurse... Enjoys being outdoors and watching baseball... Has a twin sister who also plays volleyball named Taylor.
