LJ Lampley joined the Northwestern Oklahoma State men’s basketball coaching staff in 2025 as a Graduate Assistant Coach. In his role, LJ assists with player development, recruiting, scouting, film breakdown, practice planning, and team travel logistics.
Before coming to Northwestern, LJ served as the Undergraduate Director of Basketball Operations at Oklahoma Panhandle State University from 2023–25, where he supported the day-to-day operations of the men’s basketball program. He is also a former collegiate student-athlete, now having played or coached at every single level of college basketball.
LJ earned his bachelor’s degree in Accounting, graduating Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma Panhandle State University in 2025. He is currently pursuing a Master of Education in Adult Education–Management & Administration with an emphasis in Sports Administration at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, with an expected graduation date of December 2026.
