Rangers Host Arch Rival Southwestern Tuesday

ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Soccer (2-8-1, 0-6 GAC) will host Great American Conference opponent and arch rival Southwestern Oklahoma State (9-2-1, 5-0-1 GAC) tomorrow evening, Oct. 13 at 6:00 p.m. in Alva, Okla. at the Alva Rec Complex.

The Rangers traveled to Bethany, Okla. where the black-and-red played the Crimson Storm incredibly tough throughout the entire match. Northwestern went into the half in this contest all knotted up at 0-0 but the second half was a different story however. Southern Nazarene was able to net their first goal midway through the second half of play in the 68th minute off a rebound to give the home team the 1-0 advantage. SNU then found the back of the net again late in the half to give them the 2-0 lead and was enough for them to take home the victory.
