ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball took down fellow Great Amererican Conference member Southern Nazarene Thursday night by a final score of 3-1.

Individual Leaders

Nora To'omalatai and Ashanti Banks each led the black-and-red in overall kills with 13 total apiece. Asia Pipkin also added nine kills for the Ranger offense.
Maggie Ireton and Pipkin each aided the defensive effort by adding two total blocks for Northwestern.
Kaydee Yukawa also turned in a solid performance for the Rangers as she totaled 17 digs and 25 assists.

Game Changer

The opening set was a neck-and-neck battle throughout but the Rangers were able to come out victorious by a score of 25-22 over the Crimson Storm to take the early advantage
The following two sets each saw both teams showing signs of dominance as Southern Nazarene evened things up in the second set at 25-12 but the black-and-red stormed right back however and took set three, 25-14.
Northwestern saw themselves down as many as five points in set number four but the Rangers were able to keep things close until late in the set when they exploded for an 8-0 run to close out the set and the match at 25-19.

The Rangers finished with a final stat line of: 52 Kills / 4 Blocks / 47 Assists / 66 Digs
