Location: ALVA, Okla.ALVA, OKLA.- Northwestern Oklahoma State Volleyball took a hard fought match and turned it into the second straight victory in as many nights. The Rangers finished off the East Central Tigers three sets to two (25-19, 23-25, 21-25, 25-17, 15-12).
Individual Leaders- Asia Pipkin led the offensive attack for the Rangers, with 16 kills on .244 hitting percentage. She also recorded 10 digs in the match.
- Natalie Fahey had her second straight game of dominance at the net, hitting .360 and recording 10 kills. She was also part of three blocks for the home squad.
- Kaydee Yukawa and Vanessa Maile were very close together with Kaydee earning 25 helpers and Maile recording 22 of her own.
Game Changer- It was a tale of two matches this afternoon as Northwestern owned the first set, but struggled the next two.
- Something clicked in the fourth when the Rangers took control of the match again, taking it 25-17, catapulting them to a 15-12 victory in the fifth.
News & Notes:- The Rangers finished with a stat line of: 59 Kills / 9 aces / 14 blocks / 50 assists / 70 digs.
- This was the third time this season the Rangers had back to back games and also the third home game on the season.
- The win over the Tigers gave the Rangers their second straight victory over GAC opponents.
