ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State had a tough Saturday as the Arkansas Tech Wonder Boys came to town and took down the Rangers in a 53-21 contest.

Individual Leaders
  • Reid Miller was 33-of-57 on the day for 339 yards passing with three touchdowns, with the longest of them being for 70 yards.
  • Horatio Smith has recorded six TD's in the last two games, two of which came against the Wonder Boys.
  • Devin Peyton led the Ranger defense once again in tackles, adding 12 to his total of 87 on the year to make it 99 through nine games.
  • Rontez Smith ended with seven tackles on the day with four coming for loss while recording two sacks.
Game Changers
  • Two missed field goals early on for the Rangers led to two scores for the Wonder boys who turned them into 10 points.
  • Two of the three first possessions for ATU in the second quarter were scores, giving them a 25-0 lead.
News & Notes
  • Today was Breast Cancer Awareness Day at Ranger Field where the Rangers handed out pink ribbons to all patrons. Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons were also painted on the field for the recognition of the month.
