Ranger Football Picked 12th in Conference Coaches Poll

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. – The Great American Conference released the 2026 coaches poll on Tuesday. Northwestern was picked to finish 12th by the league coaches.

Harding University was picked to finish atop the conference, as they received all eleven eligible first place votes and 121 points. Ouachita Baptist followed the Bisons in the poll receiving the other first place vote and 103 points. Southern Arkansas and Henderson State were the next two teams in the poll at 99 and 95 respectively. Arkansas Tech rounded out the top five with 78 points and East Central came in sixth and totaled 68 points.

Southwestern was picked seventh followed by Southeastern and Arkansas-Monticello. Oklahoma Baptist rounded out the top 10 followed by Southern Nazarene at 11 and Northwestern at 12.
The Great American Conference Football media day will be held on Tuesday July 21 and Wednesday July 22nd. You can watch the interview with Ranger head coach Jerry Partridge on Wednesday at 1:00 p.m. on the Great American Conference YouTube channel.

The Rangers will kick off the season on the road on September 3rd in Searcy, Arkansas, with kick off set for 6:00 p.m.
