Rangers Host Oklahoma Christian in Home Opener

ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Soccer (0-2-1, 0-0 GAC) will square off against non-conference opponent, Oklahoma Christian University Eagles (1-2-1, 0-0 Heartland), in their home opener this Saturday, September 19 at 1:00 p.m.

The Rangers previously took on non-conference foe Sioux Falls of Sioux Falls, S.D. in a tightly contested battle. The Cougars were able to fire off 23 total shots against Northwestern but solid goalkeeping and defense prevented the ball from hitting the back of the net. In the 53:00 minute however one was able to find its way passed the black-and-red and that goal would ultimately seal the victory for Sioux Falls.
