ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State volleyball fell to the Bison of Oklahoma Baptist in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-21). This was the home opener for the Rangers as well as the first match of the Great American Conference season.
Individual Leaders- Nora To'omalatai led the Rangers with 14 kills and was the sole player with double digit kills while also hitting .270 on the night.
- Vanessa Maile helped out the Ranger cause with two aces, while also assisting on 14 kills.
- Kaydee Yukawa led the way in assists with 16 on the evening.
Game Changer- The first set was tight all the way through until the visiting Bison went on a 7-0 run to all but seal the first game.
- Following the tough swing in the first set, the Rangers never quite recovered in the second.
- Northwestern put up a fight in the final set of the night, but weren't able to close the gap in the end as the Bison finished on a 3-1 surge to end it.
