Wayne, Neb. - Northwestern Oklahoma State battled to a 0-0 draw in their second game of the season with the Wayne State Wildcats. Defense kept the game close for the Rangers as they battled through 17 shots on goal. Goalkeepers Briana Legaspi and Kylee Wallace combied for 17 saves. 

Individual Leaders

• Kelsey Leveling tallied for two shots on goal, Alyssa Williams, Arlet Polack, and Andrea Palacios finished with one shot apiece. 
• Goalkeeper Briana Legaspi finished the night with 13 saves. 

Game Changer

• The Wildcats tested keeper Briana Legaspi early with three shots on goal seven minutes into the game.
• Andrea Palacios missed a penalty kick in 42nd minute to potentally put the Rangers up before half. 
• The Wildcats missed a shot wide to go ahead late in the second overtime. 

News & Notes

• This was the second game for Northwestern and the first draw of the season.
