ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State bounced back Saturday afternoon, taking down the Savage Storm of Southeastern Oklahoma State by a score of 82-77.
Individual Leaders- Austin Klug had a big day as he was the leading scorer and rebounder for the Rangers with a double-double 21-11 afternoon.
- Adrian Motley had another big day for the Black-and-Red, nearing a double-double performance, scoring 20 points on 9-of-17 shooting while also pulling down nine boards, second most for Northwestern.
- Sophomore Brandon Green filled the stat sheet as he had a nine and nine performance, but with points and assists for his near double-double effort.
- Two other Rangers had double-digit scoring days as freshman Zachary Dumas posted 12 points, while senior T'aries Taylor recorded 11.
Game Changer- Northwestern led the entire first half of play as well as going up by as many as 10 points and finishing with a five-point advantage.
- The lead for the Rangers dwindled to four points at the 12:30 mark, but back-to-back three pointers by Dumas pushed the lead back to 10, turning out to be crucial.
- The home squad led for nearly the entire game with the one tie midway through the second half.
