Rangers Travel to Shawnee to Face Oklahoma Baptist

ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball will square off against Great American Conference opponent Oklahoma Baptist (6-9, 4-5 GAC) in Shawnee, Okla. this Thursday, Jan. 21 with tip-off set for 5:30 p.m.

Northwestern Oklahoma State was defeated by Great American Conference adversary and arch rival Southwestern Oklahoma State Monday evening by a final score of 89-50.

Individual Leaders
-Guiding the offensive attack of the Rangers this evening was Kamera Bozeman who put up 14 points on the night. Bozeman also recorded a team high eight rebounds.
-Ashley Pride was able to score in double figures as well, netting 12 total points.
-Jaylan Robinson added to the Northwestern score line with nine points also.

Game Changer
-SWOSU opened up the first quarter of play, controlling the early momentum, going on a 9-0 run and ultimately led after the first period by a score of 20-10. The Bulldogs were able to keep the Northwestern offensive in check throughout most of the second quarter as Southwestern still held a 10 point lead at the half, at 38-28.
-The Bulldogs continued to carry their momentum into the third quarter as they would hold a 66-40 lead over Northwestern heading into the fourth. The final quarter of play saw Southwestern unfortunately control the pace of the game and claim the victory with a final score of 89-50.
