SEARCY, Ark. -- Two straight wins by the Northwestern Oklahoma State men's basketball team has lifted them to 5-6 overall in the Great American Conference, and they will have a chance to climb further up the rankings when they will take on top-seeded Harding, Thursday.

ALVA, Okla. - After a near wire-to-wire win, Northwestern Oklahoma State was able to take home their second straight victory, this time against East Central, who is currently sitting sixth in the Central Region Poll and was also tops in the GAC before the contest this afternoon.
Individual Leaders- After a rough start, Adrian Motley turned up his game in the second, ending the night with a double-double, recording 17 points and 12 boards.
- Laakeem Henderson had an effective evening as he posted a 12-point game, including going 3-for-4 from the charity stripe.
- Continuing his great streak, Zachary Dumas has now scored in double figures in five of the last six games, including an 11-point performance against the Tigers.
- Two other Rangers also posted double-digit numbers on offense with Brandon Green and Deiondray Martin both putting up 10. Green also had six boards and five helpers.
Game Changer- Over a three minute period, the Rangers went on a big 11-point run to take a 21-10 lead. The run ultimately set the pace in the first half.
- To end the half, Northwestern went on a 9-2 run to take a commanding 16-point advantage.
- East Central went on a couple big runs to bring the game back to within range and even took a one-point lead with 2:09 left to play.
- The last eight Ranger points were off free throws, willing them to a five-point win.
News and Notes- Motley has been on fire from the charity stripe over the last several games as he has currently hit 25-straight free shots.
- The Rangers win over the Tigers gave the Black-and-Red a two-game winstreak, the first of the season.
