Men's Basketball Travels to Russellville to Take On Arkansas Tech

RUSSELLVILLE, Ark. -- Two straight wins by the Northwestern Oklahoma State men's basketball team has was stalled following the loss to Harding on Thursday, but the Rangers are poised to take on Arkansas Tech Saturday to get back on track.

SEARCY, Ark. -  The first game of the Arkansas road swing ended in defeat for the Northwestern Oklahoma State men's basketball team, falling to the Harding Bisons 84-64.

Individual Leaders
  • Freshman Zachary Dumas had a monster night as he posted his biggest scoring performance of the season, tallying 21 points on 6-of-14 shooting from the floor. He was also 8-for-14 from the charity stripe.
  • Adrian Motley was the only other Ranger in double digits on the night with 15, but he was also a monster on the glass, pulling down a game high 13 boards.
  • Next in the scoring column for Northwestern was Deiondray Martin with seven, followed by Austin Klug who had six.
Game Changer
  • Beyond the arc was a struggle for the visitors tonight as they were 2-for-20 overall, while going 0-of-8 in the second half.
  • After a close first 20 minutes of play, where the Rangers only trailed by five, the home squad turned up the volume in the second half, posting 48 points and holding the Rangers to just 33.
  • Northwestern did put up 30 points off the bench, owning that category over the Bisons by 17 points.
