Rangers Late Push Falls Short on Senior Night

ALVA, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball fell against Great American Conference foe Oklahoma Baptist by a final score of 87-82 in Percefull Fieldhouse Thursday evening.

Individual Leaders

Senior T'aries Taylor had a day for his last outing in Percefull Fieldhouse as he finished with 17 points, leading the team in points. He capitalized on 7-of-16 shooting and brought down eight boards as well.
Junior Adrian Motley recorded yet another double-double this season, going 16 and 10 on the evening.
Laakeem Henderson started the night off hot in his senior finale at home, scoring six of the first eight points for the Rangers and finished with 11 on the night.
Deiondray Martin was the final Ranger to hit the double-digit points mark, putting up 12 for the home squad. He also pulled down seven rebounds in the contest.

Game Changer

The overall shooting in this game was certainly a difference maker as the Bison out shot the Rangers from the field 56.4 percent to Northwestern's 35.8 percent.
Three point shooting was also a strong suite for the visitors as they shot 52.4 percent from beyond the arc, compared to the black-and-red's 26.3 percent.
The Bison took the lead early on and never relinquished the advantage.
The Rangers did hold two stat categories over the visitors however, outscoring the Bison 29-8 in bench scoring and 13-0 in points off turnovers.
