Alva, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Soccer was defeated by conference foe East Central Thursday night by a final score of 4-1. 
 
Individual Leaders
  • Yazmin Gomez led the offensive charge for the Rangers with 4 shots with 2 of them being shots on goal and one of them finding the back of the net for a goal.
  • Bailey Jarvis had 2 shots as well unfortunately neither was a shot on goal.
  • Kelsey Henneha assisted on the Gomez goal leading the black and red in that category.
 
 Game Changer
  • The Tigers jumped out to a quick 1-0 lead to start the game.
  • Northwestern was able to tie the game at 1-1 in the 20th minute on a Yazmin Gomez second goal.
  • The Tigers answered with a late first period goal to regain the lead and never looked back.
 
News and Notes
  • Yazmin Gomez has played in only two games for the Rangers and has recorded a goal in each one.

The Rangers return to action on Tuesday Sept. 27 as they travel to face off against non-conference opponent Oklahoma Christian University at 7 pm.
