OKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Soccer was defeated by non conference foe Oklahoma Christian Tuesday night by a final score of 3-2.
Individual Leaders
- Yazmin Gomez and Kelsey Henneha led the offensive charge for the Rangers with each scoring a goal.
- Gomez also led the total shots category with six shots, two of those being on goal.
- Kelsey Henneha tallied three shots of her own with one being a shot on goal.
- Briana Legaspi put in a solid performance in goal for the Rangers totaling nine saves on the night.
Game Changer
- The Rangers came out of the gates firing scoring the first goal of the evening and jumping out to an early 1-0 lead.
- Two quick goals by the Eagles would derail Northwesterns early momentum for the moment. The Eagles would put another goal on the board midway through the first period making the half time score 3-1.
- The Rangers came out of the halftime break with some fire holding the Eagles to no goals in the second period while putting up another goal of their own bringing the score within one at 3-2.
