2020 Football Golf Tournament and Benefit Auction Canceled

ALVA, Okla. – Northwestern Oklahoma State University's football program has made the difficult decision to cancel the Annual Football Golf Tournament and Benefit Auction set for June 5-6.

For the first time in 24 years, the tournament and auction is canceled. With the participants and public health at the forefront of our thoughts, the choice was made with great care. Though we have to cancel for this summer, we look forward to having a great event next summer.

As a university and football program, we take great pride in the culture and tradition here at Northwestern. We just wrapped up another amazing recruiting season. The excitement around our program is very evident in spite of the challenges we face regarding the COVID-19 pandemic.

The health and safety of everyone is the most important thing as we prepare for the 2020 season. As a department, we are confident that we will meet all challenges presented.  We look forward to seeing everyone this fall.
