2023 Ranger Baseball Schedule

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State baseball and head coach Ryan Bowen has announced their schedule for the 2023 upcoming season. Bowen will be entering his sixth season with the Ranger program.

The upcoming season will total  a 50 game schedule that will open on February 3rd through 5th at MSU- Denver. The schedule features 33 Great American Conference games, with 17 non conference games being played. The 2023 schedule has 28  home games lined up including the annual nonconference game at David Allen Ballpark. Northwestern will get six home conference series totaling 18 games on the schedule with 15 being on the road.

Northwestern's home opener will be on February 7th against Newman before hosting NW Missouri State that weekend for the home  series opener February 9th-12th. The Rangers will then open conference play on the road against Ouachita Baptist on February 17th and 18th. Northwestern will then return home for four straight games in Alva playing Emporia State on teh 21st before hosting Henderson State for the team's first home conference series. To close out February the Rangers will travel to Rogers State for a road game on February 28th.

in March the Rangers open the month with a home conference series against Oklahoma Baptist on March 3rd-4th, before hitting the road for four straight against Newman to close out the two game season series against the Jets before taking on the Crimson Storm in Bethany. The Ranger will then take a quick trip home hosting Oklahoma Panhandle State before hitting the road for four more road games starting at Arkansas Tech before going to Emporia State. Northwestern will then have three games in Alva against Harding before ending the season series against the Aggies at Oklahoma Panhandle State. Southeastern Oklahoma State comes to Alva to close out the Rangers schedule in March and beginning of April.

After closing out the series with Southeastern Oklahoma State the Rangers play four straight games against East Central. The series starts with three in Ada on April 7th and 8th before playing in the annual game at David Allen Ballpark on April 11th. The Red-and-Black will then have their final road series of the season on April 14th-15 against Arkansas Monticello before playing their final eight games of the season at home. This begins with Northeastern State on the 18th before hosting Southern Arkansas on the 21st and 22nd. Northwestern then closes out their out of conference schedule on April 25th against Rogers State before ending the regular season finale against Southwestern Oklahoma State on April 28th-29th.

The beginning of May will be the Great American Conference tournament from May 6th-9th before the Ncaa tournament begins on May 19th before concluding on June 10th.
