Las Vegas, New Mexico - The Rangers traveled to Las Vegas, New Mexico for their sixth match of the season as they played against New Mexico Highlands University. The Rangers were able to create a lead early on in the match, following three first half goals before going into half time with a 3-0 over the Cowgirls. The Rangers were able to score one more time and maintain a shut out win in the match 4-0 over the Cowgirls.

The Rangers came out aggressive offensively creating their first goal just twelve minutes into the match. Tiara Campbell was the first Ranger to score with a header from a corner kick served by Isabella Mcmillan. Less than ten minutes later, Carlie Massingale lasered a shot in against the Cowgirls finding the back of the net. Thirty-five minutes into the match, Massingale made the third and final goal of the half from more than eighteen yards out for her second one of the match. The Rangers went into half time 3-0, outshooting the Cowgirls eight to one in the first half. 

Starting the second half, the Rangers wasted no time as within two minutes Massingale goes straight to goal to score the fourth, and final, goal of the match with an assist from Victoria Ruvalcaba. This goal will give, senior, Carlie Massingale her first hat trick of the season. Angel Chase and the Ranger defense continued to control the game as Chase's five saves helped lead to the win and the team's first shutout of the season.

The Rangers finished the match with a 4-0 win over the Cowgirls. This win propels the Rangers to 3-2-1 and drops the Cowgirls to 0-4-0. 

Next up, the Rangers will travel to Weatherford, Oklahoma on September 16th to play Southwestern Oklahoma State University. The Rangers will face their rivals, the Bulldogs, for their first conference game of the season.
