With the Rangers win over the Tigers, Northwestern moves to a record of 4-3-1, (1-1 GAC) and the Tigers to 1-5-3.
"A fantastic team performance today. Going down 2-0 put us in a tough spot, but we showed tremendous character to equalize the score before halftime. In the second half we played some of our best soccer of the season and finished our opportunities" stated head coach Alex Piekarski.
The Tigers conceded their first goal twenty minutes into the match from inside the eighteen-yard box. Within five minutes the Tigers scored again from a header off of a corner kick. This will take the Tigers 2-0 over the Rangers.
