Alva, Oklahoma - The Rangers hosted their first conference game of the season against Ouachita Baptist University for the third one overall. The Rangers found the net late in the second half, trying to amount a comeback before resulting in a 3-1 loss to the Tigers.

The loss moves the Rangers to 4-4-1 and 1-2 in GAC play while the Ouachita Tigers to 6-4-0 and  3-1 in conference play.

The Rangers came out battling but were unable to score in the first half. Meanwhile, the Tigers were able to concede their first goal of the night twenty-eight minutes into the match. The Rangers were able to keep the Tigers to one goal in the first half, while trying to work for one of their own. The Rangers would go into half time 1-0 to the Tigers with the help of five saves from Maggie Koster. 

The Tigers were quick to attack in the second half, scoring within the first twenty minutes to add their second goal of the evening. The Rangers responded rather quickly with a goal from Tiara Campbell just ten minutes later. With the Rangers on the scoreboard, the Tigers reacted by scoring the third and final goal of the night with only six minutes left in the match. This resulted in a 3-1 loss to the Tigers. 

Next up, the Rangers face Harding University at home on Saturday October 1st at 11:00am.
