Rangers Have Sixth Most on All-GAC Academic Honors

Alva, Oklahoma- The Great American Conference announced their 2021-2022 conference All-Academic Team earlier this week. Northwestern Oklahoma State University was well represented, with 98 student-athletes on the team. The conference set a record with 1345 total student-athletes earning all-academic honors this past season after 75 more this season from last year.

Northwestern finished with the sixth most in the conference with the 98.

The conference qualifications to qualify for All-Academic honors are "For student-athletes to be recognized on the Academic All-Conference team, they must have enrolled as freshmen before the fall of 2021. In addition, their grade-point average must be a minimum of 3.30 based on the 4.0 system. The GPA shall be cumulative for the athlete's entire collegiate career."
