ALVA, OKLAHOMA- Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball travels to Ada to face East Central to complete three straight games on the road. Northwestern is currently 1-1 in the first two games looking to end the road trip with a winning record. 

Northwestern enters play with a 6-6 overall record this season with a 2-6 Great American Conference record. The Tigers enter 3-5 overall in GAC play and a 8-6 overall record. 

This will be the 23rd meeting between the two programs overall dating back to 2013. The Rangers dropped the first meeting of the season 75-71. Overall the Tigers lead the series 12-10. The Rangers have won two of the last three meetings. 

On the season Malik Parsons leads the team averaging 21.7 points per game as one of three double figure scorers. He is joined by Brian Free at 13.7 points per game and Larry White at 10.3. Parsons and Free lead the team in assists with 40 for Parsons and Free at 34 leading the Ranger offense.

Malik Parsons and Larry White lead the Ranger defense with 20 and 19 steals each on the season. White has 19 blocks on the year as well. Shavaul Butters leads the team in blocks with 22 on the season. Butters has a team high eight rebounds per game followed by Parsons with 5.1.

East Central: 

The Tigers split their two games last week following a 66-59 win over Arkansas Monticello after losing to Southern Arkansas earlier in the week. 

East Central is led by Keyon Thomas as one of two double figure scorers averaging 15.0 also joined by Quinton Johnson at 13.0. Luke Harper leads the team with 3.5 assists per game followed by Thomas at 2.4 

On the defensive side of the ball Thomas leads the team with 24 steals on the season with Romello Wilbert second with 15. Barron Tanner is their lead shot blocker with seven blocks on the season. Wilbert leads the team with 5 rebounds per game for the Tigers.
