ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Great American Conference released the Men's Basketball preseason poll on Thursday afternoon. Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Basketball was picked ninth in the annual coaches preseason poll.
 

Southeastern Oklahoma State was projected first in the conference after finishing with 116 points including nine of the twelve first place votes. Arkansas Tech was voted second with 103 points after earning one first place vote. The top three is rounded out by Southern Arkansas with 101 points. 
 

The final first place vote went to Henderson State finishing with 82 points in the poll followed by East Central with 72 points. Ouachita Baptist is sixth in the poll with 70 points. 
 

Oklahoma Baptist is seventh with 61 points in the poll followed by Southern Nazarene at 49. Northwestern Oklahoma State comes in at ninth right behind Southern Nazarene with 46 points. 
 

The final three in the poll is Arkansas Monticello in 10th at 43 points, closed out by Southwestern Oklahoma State at 26 points and Harding 21.
 

Northwestern Oklahoma State will open their season on Friday November 10th at 7:30 PM tip-off time against Northeastern State University in Tahlequah, Oklahoma. The home opener will be on November 15th at 7:00 PM against Oklahoma Panhandle State.
