Lady Rangers 2023-24 Schedule

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Women's Basketball schedule is set for the 2023-2024 season. The upcoming season will feature 30 games total with four neutral site games, 14 home games, and 12 away games. Two of the four neutral site games include a trip to Hawaii over Thanksgiving.

Tasha Diesselhorst enters her eighth season as the Lady Rangers head coach. 

The Rangers will start the season in the MIAA / GAC challenge as Northeastern State is hosting the beginning of the season tournament as Northwestern plays Northeastern State to open the season on November 10th before playing against Central Oklahoma to close out the Challenge Saturday the 11th. 

Northwestern's home opener will be on November 14th hosting Kansas Christian College with a 5:30 PM tip-off. That will be the first of two games that week as the team will play Oklahoma Panhandle State on Friday November 17th. 

These two games will lead into the team's trip to Honolulu, Hawaii to play against Chaminade University and Stanislaus State. 

After the trip to Hawaii Northwestern will open conference play on the road against East Central University on November 30th. The conference home opener will be December 2nd against Oklahoma Baptist. On this day Northwestern will honor Bob Battisti and Milburn Barton with celebrating the court being named after these two individuals which was announced in July. 

December 13th the Rangers will play their first of three straight home games as they play host to McPherson College at 5:30 PM Wednesday night, before returning to conference play on Southeastern Oklahoma State at 1:00 PM. The final home game of the 2023 calendar year will be against Bethel College on New Year's Eve December 31st at 2:00 PM. 

To start the New Year the Rangers will travel to Arkansas Monticello for two straight road games in Arkansas with the second one Southern Arkansas. Northwestern comes back home for two straight at home playing against Ouachita Baptist, and Henderson State. 

There will be three straight road games following the last home stretch with games in Russellville, Arkansas against Arkansas Tech with a game in Searcy vs Harding next. 

Northwestern comes home to close out the season series against East Central for Northwestern's 2024 Hall of Fame game. The homestand is concluded by two more against Southern Arkansas and Arkansas Monticello on February 1st and February 3rd. 

The Rangers play rival Southwestern Oklahoma State at home on February 15th following a trip to Arkadelphia against Henderson State and Ouachita Baptist. 

Northwestern will finish with three of their final four games at home after hosting Harding and Arkansas Tech the final home game of the season will be Southern Nazarene on February 29th against Southern Nazarene. 

The final regular season game will be against Southeastern Oklahoma State in Durant, Oklahoma on March 2nd. The conference tournament will then follow during the next week for the top eight teams in the league that qualify.
