2023 GAC Soccer Coaches Poll

ALVA,OKLAHOMA - On Tuesday afternoon the Great American Conference release their annual coaches poll for the upcoming 2023 season. Northwestern Oklahoma State comes in ranked tied for third this season with Oklahoma Baptist after receiving 24 points.

Ouachita Baptist comes in voted first in the conference after tying for the most first place votes in the conference at three with Southwestern. The Tigers earned 31 total points compared to second ranked Bulldogs with 27.

Oklahoma Baptist and Northwestern each received 24 points but the Bison earned the last first place vote from the coaches. Crimson Storm of Southern Nazarene round out the top five with 19 points.

Harding and East Central were the final two in the projections with 13 points for the Bisons and nine for the Tigers.

Northwestern will be led by head coach Alex Piekarski for the fourth straight season. The Rangers will open up the regular season on August 31st before their first home game on September 4th.
