ALVA, OKLAHOMA - The Great American Conference announced the yearly awards Thursday evening following the annual awards banquet for the season. Northwestern Soccer had four players earn conference team awards, and 11 earn academic honors.
The Rangers were led by Rachel Brown who earned first team All-Conference for goalkeeper after finishing the season with four shutouts, led the conference in saves per game with over seven and was second in save percentage with .845.
Taylor Songster was the second Ranger to earn all conference honors as she received Second-Team All-GAC honors on Thursday. Songster played all 18 matches for the Rangers starting in all 18, leading the Rangers in minutes ith 1574.
Honorable Mention for the Ranger was Tira Campbell and Lily Anderson. Campbell finished the season with seven points on three goals and an assist. Anderson finished the season with four points on two assists and a goal.
On the academic side the Rangers had 11 players earn GAC Academic Honor Roll. These players included Rachel Brown, Cassidy Fitzgerald, Kylee Jones, Christie-Anne Mills, Victoria Ruvalcaba, Katy Jo Werner, Elie Dang, Lauren Gauthier, Isabella McMillan, Jenna Mills, Reese Welch.
