Metropolitan answered back in the ninth with a run though to extend their lead back to two at 5-3. The score remained 7-1 until the bottom of the 8th when Colby Grace tried to get the Rangers back in the game with a two run home run to center field scoring Pittman as the Rangers trailed 7-3.
