ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Soccer has finalized the upcoming 2024 season schedule. The Rangers will have in total 12 conference matches, six non-conference matches making up the 18 match schedule. The Rangers will play three exhibition matches before the season. Northwestern has nine home and nine away matches for the season.
Northwestern's three exhibition matches are August 20th (Kansas Wesleyan), August 24th (Rogers State) and August 31st (Central Oklahoma ) with the home match against Rogers State.
The season will kickoff in Nebraska at Wayne State with a Thursday afternoon match against the Wildcats with the start time 3:00 PM. This is the first of three road matches to start the season traveling to Pittsburg State on September 8th before closing the road trip against Southwestern College in Kansas.
Northwestern will have the home opener on Sunday September 15th against Northeastern in Alva with the start time at 1:00 PM. This is the first of five straight at home as the Rangers will face Newman on September 18th and Fort Hays State September 21st to close non-conference play.
The conference opener will be home against Southern Nazarene on September 25th followed by Oklahoma Baptist on September 28th to close out the five straight home matches.
The home stand is followed by three straight on the road traveling to Arkansas to face Ouachita Baptist in Arkadelphia, and Harding in Searcy before facing East Central to close out the road trip on October 12th.
The Rangers return home on the 16th of October against Southwestern Oklahoma State. After facing Oklahoma Baptist in Shawnee on the 19th the Rangers will have three straight in Alva facing East Central on the 23rd, followed by Harding on Halloween night to close out the month of October.
Northwestern opens November at home against Ouachita Baptist for the final home match of the season on Saturday November 2nd before closing the season with two straight on the road against Southwestern Oklahoma State and Southern Nazarene.
The Great American Conference tournament will begin on November 13th, running through November 16th.
