MONTICELLO, Ark. – Northwestern Oklahoma State women's cross country team competed at the Great American Conference championship this Saturday morning in Monticello, Arkansas. The team scored 216 points and finished the race seventh, followed by Southern Arkansas, Southwestern Oklahoma State, Southern Nazarene, Henderson State and Arkansas-Monticello.
Ivy Washington was the fastest one for The Rangers with a time of 18:59.
Celestine Kiborus finished the race off with a time of 19:18.
Cadence Long-Torres was the third fastest with a score of 19:26. Just 10 seconds later,
Ava Washington crossed the finish line at 19:36.
Jessica Myers ran the race in 19:42, while
Seriah Vess had a time of 20:46.
Five Rangers earned a spot on the 2025 GAC Women's Cross Country Academic Honor Roll: Kiborus, Long-Torres,
Ava Miller, Alexiz Thompson and
Harley Woody.
The Rangers will be traveling to Joplin, Missouri on Nov. 8 to compete at the NCAA Central Region Championship.
