ALVA, Okla. – The Northwestern Oklahoma State women's soccer team fell to Harding, 3-0, on Thursday night.
The loss moves the Rangers to 8-1-1 on the season, ending the Rangers' nine-game unbeaten streak.
The Bisons struck five minutes to take a 1-0 lead and never looked back, as they scored one more time in the first half to take a 2-0 lead into halftime.
The Rangers had multiple scoring chances in the second half, with
Luana San Miguel and
Christi-Anne Mills leading Northwestern with two shots on goal each.
Jordan Fawcett and
Eryn Warren each had one shot on goal.
Despite these chances, the Bisons tacked on another goal in the 86th minute to give Harding the 3-0 victory.
The Rangers will be back in action on October 11th, when they take on Ouachita Baptist at the Alva Recreation Complex at 11 a.m.
