ALVA, Okla. – Multiple members of the Northwestern Oklahoma State football team received honors from the Great American Conference, as four Rangers made the All-GAC third team.
Quarterback
Caleb Deal led the Rangers with 1,250 passing yards and five touchdowns, while adding 247 yards and another touchdown on the ground. Wide receivers
Royal Kyle and
Isaiah Taylor also made the team, as Kyle racked up 34 receptions for 422 yards and a touchdown. Taylor caught 28 passes for 353 yards and two touchdowns. Kyle and Taylor both finished in the top 15 in the GAC in receiving yards, with Kyle at 11th and Taylor at 15th.
On the defensive side, linebacker
Aiden Lewis made the team with 83 total tackles, which put him in sixth in the GAC in total tackles. Lewis led the Rangers in total tackles, and recorded three tackles for loss as well as 1.5 sacks, an interception, and a forced fumble. Lewis also scored a touchdown against Harding when he ran a fumble back 80 yards for a score.
