Zerwin Earns Golfer of the Week

ALVA, OKLAHOMA - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Golf concluded their first tournament of the spring season in San Antonio, Texas at the Rattler Invitational hosted by St. Mary's. Ranger Golfer Matti Zerwin earned Great American Conference Golfer of the Week on Wednesday morning.

Zerwin in the opening spring invitational was the leader for the Rangers pacing the team. He placed tied for 19th overall in the tournament improving each of his three rounds. He started the tournament with a 76 in round one before closing the tournament with a 73 in round two followed by round three with a 72. Zerwin had six birdies in the tournament, and 40 pars which was the most in the tournament by any golfer.

Matti Zerwin had earned GAC Golfer of the Week twice in the fall season on September 25th and October 16th. This is his third conference golfer of the week for the 2024-25 season.

Men's Golf is back in action when the team travels to Rogers, Arkansas for the Arkansas Fort Smith Invitational at Shadow Valley Country Club.
