Men's Golf Closes Shadow Valley Invitational

ROGERS, ARKANSAS - Northwestern Oklahoma State Men's Golf concluded the Shadow Valley Invitational on Tuesday afternoon. The Rangers were at Shadow Valley Country Club in Rogers, Arkansas, hosted by Arkansas Fort Smith.

The Rangers placed 16th overall, finishing with a total of 653 (329-324), with the best individual, Max Courange, placing 53rd. Overall, Harding won the invitational with a total of 600 (296-304).

Max Courange was the first Ranger to finish the tournament with a total of 17 pars and two birdies. He finished with a total of 160 for the invitational with round scores of 81-79. 

Next for the Rangers was Matti Zerwin, who placed 68th overall in the tournament after a total of 164 with a first-round score of 85 followed by a second round of 79. He finished with 16 pars and three birdies.

Caden Holmes was third for Northwestern, placing 71st overall with a total of 165 (81-74). Through the invitational, he finished with 14 pars and three birdies.

Fourth for the Rangers was Max Garza, placing 76th overall with a total of 167, with a first-round score of 85 before improving to a second round of 82. He had nine pars with five birdies in the two rounds. 

Pierce Geminden was next for the Rangers with 18 pars and one birdie. He finished with a total of 171, placing 88th overall with a round one of 82 before a total of 89 in the second.

The Ranger Men's Golf team will be in Owasso, Oklahoma on March 10-11th for a two-day invitational hosted by Rogers State at the Bailey Ranch Golf Club.
